One of our valued clients invited us to refurbish 4x classrooms during the half term. The project deliverables included;

• Disposal of all old equipment, units, flooring, blinds etc

• Complete re-decoration of all walls, skirts, window frames, doors to a new colour scheme

• New higher sideboards with storage underneath

• Plumbing in new sinks into the classrooms

• New carpet and vinyl flooring

• New energy efficient LED lighting

• New Blinds

Our time frame was within the 1st 3 weeks of the school holidays.

Some of the challenges we found was more to do with the wall preparation before painting. The classroom walls were littered with staples, blue tack, old cork boards and damage. The key to getting the best finish was to ensure we spent the correct amount of time focussing on this.

2 out of the 4 classrooms had water and waste ready for us to connect to. The other two required mapping out the supply and waste water plan. Drain surveys, asbestos reports and outside the box thinking was used to ensure we could install correctly & safely.

As you will see from the photos below, the project was a success, delivered on time and in budget.

After everything was installed we performed a deep clean and handed over to the client.

This has led to further projects within the trust.
