When you choose a nursery for your child what’s the first thing you consider?
It’s probably reputation - you need to know your child is going somewhere that’s safe and provides a good standard of care and support.
But what about all the behind the scenes work that has to be in place in order for the nursery to offer a high standard of care in a safe environment?
There’s a good chance a lot of parents take that for granted.
We have started to work with Bright Minds Daycare Ltd, which operates nurseries at several sites across the West Midlands, in recent months and it is among some of the most rewarding work we have undertaken.
Knowing that repairs and maintenance issues are in our expert hands means the staff can concentrate on what really matters - looking after the young children in their care.
We love being able to make that happen for them and real privilege to be able to take away that extra layer of stress that they just don’t need.
And it seems our efforts are appreciated. Some of the work we have carried out recently has including building radiator covers, providing on-site cleaning, fixing doors, redecorating, connecting a new dishwasher, putting up posters and wall art and carrying out repairs to leaks, electrical issues.
They might seem like small jobs but they can cause major disruption to the day to day running of a nursery. And left unattended, they soon mount up to a big problem.
Our rapid response means they are dealt with there and then.
We take care of the little things, while staff take care of the little ones.
